Trademark, copyright and patent
Protect your brand name, logo and original work before someone else registers it first.
Own your brand, legally
A trademark gives you the exclusive right to use your name, logo or slogan for the goods and services you register it for. Without it, another business can register a similar mark and force you to change your brand.
Registration is far cheaper before a conflict than after one. We search the register first, choose the right classes, file the application and handle every step until the certificate is issued.

The trademark journey
Trademark registration has several stages. Here is what happens and roughly when.
Search and class selection
We check for conflicting marks and decide which classes to file in, based on what you sell.
Application filing
We file with the Trademark Registry. You can start using the ™ symbol from the filing date.
Examination
The Registry examines the application and may issue an examination report with objections.
Reply to objections
If there is a report, we draft the reply within the time allowed and attend the hearing if one is called.
Publication
The mark is published in the Trademark Journal, and third parties can oppose it within the notice period.
Registration certificate
If there is no opposition, the mark is registered and you may use the ® symbol.
What we need from you
Applicant details
- Name and address of the owner
- Incorporation certificate, for a company or LLP
- Startup or MSME certificate, if you want the reduced fee
- Signed authorisation for our team to file on your behalf
About the mark
- Logo file in a clear image format
- Description of your goods or services
- Date you first used the mark, or a note that it is proposed to be used
- Any existing packaging or website showing the mark
Common questions
Yes. You can use ™ once you have filed. The ® symbol is only for marks that have completed registration.
Our search flags conflicts before you file, so you can adjust the mark or class. If an objection arises later, we handle the reply as part of the service.
They are separate marks. Many businesses register the name first and the logo as a second application, or file both together.
A registered mark lasts 10 years from the filing date. We track your renewal date and remind you well before it expires.
